Dinadan (ディナダン Dinadan?) is a Rune Knight from Caerleon.
Biography[]
"The strongest knight in Caerleon and the only Knight Master on the continent. He has a malicious tongue. He doesn't like anything that has to do with the palace. King Cai is the only reason he continues to work in the palace."
Dinadan is Caerleon's strongest knight and he is well known throughout Forsena as a Knight Master. He is also one of King Cai's trusted advisors along with BeauArte. Cai and Princess Merriot treat him as a well trusted friend. He resides in Castle Linnuis despite the fact that he does not enjoy palace life. It is shown in his fight with Esclados that he does not care about his title of the best swordsman in the continent.
In Month 3, Year 215, Cai and Merriot call a meeting in Castle Linnuis with Dinadan and BeauArte. The meeting's purpose was to discuss the events of the rebellion against Almekia led by Zemeckis in Castle Logres and the actions they should take in order to prepare for the coming war. In Month 4, Year 215 (Month 3, Year 215 in GE), Cai and Merriot decide to leave for New Almekia to forge an alliance with Prince Lance. Cai leaves BeauArte and Dinadan in charge of Caerleon's governmental affairs during Cai's absence.
Appearance[]
Dinadan has brown, shoulder-length hair, dark eyes, and a wide mouth. He is often seen winking his left eye. He wears a red and yellow cape over a lavender uniform with light blue sleeves.
Gameplay[]
Grand Edition[]
In Grand Edition, Dinadan has a special class called Knight Master. It changes him in the following ways:
- His elements are different.
- His movement type changes from Armored to Land.
- He loses Holy Word and gains Thunder.
- He gains Parry 25% (25% chance to reduce melee attack damage by 2/3) and Cutting Away 50% (50% chance to nullify arrow attacks).
- He can use the same kinds of equipment as the rulers.
